​President - JR Reese
     
JR and her husband retired to Sun City West in 2000. JR had a successful career in financial management while raising two daughters and a beloved step daughter. Her initial post-retirement efforts were with Interfaith (now Benevilla) where she was Volunteer Manager for six years. This evolved into a life of volunteering in Sun City West; President of Community Fund of Sun City West as well as chair of the Personal needs committee, President of RISE lifelong learning of the governing council, Fire department instructor for CPR and fall prevention, Board member of ONN (our neighbor network), tax aide for AARP tax program, etc. She says "it brings me joy to help and be an active part of the community".

Vice President - Janet Gooltz
 Janet and her husband retired to Sun City West in 2007.  She holds a Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Care.  She is a member of the SCW Citizens Corps Council of the SCW Fire District Fire Corps, where she coordinates and teaches CPR, fall prevention, and Emergency Preparedness Awareness Training.  She represents the Fire District as a speaker on a variety of subjects, and she preaches frequently as a volunteer on the clergy staff of her church.  Much of her professional work was involved with assisting patients and families with end-of-life medical treatment decisions.  Janet is especially active with the Personal Needs Committee within the Community Fund.   
      
Treasurer - Robert Bowenkamp
     Bob and his wife retired to Sun City West in 2001.  His wife passed away in 2020. He holds both MS and MBA degrees. He has served on the Board since 2007, almost all of that time as Treasurer. His focus has been ensuring stability of the finances of the Fund while avoiding rationing of funds to individuals who qualify for assistance.   

Secretary - Dale Hornyan-Toftoy
  Dale spent her entire career in education as a speech/language therapist in the public schools in IL. Lucky enough to take an early retirement, she spent 10 years as a snowbird in SCW, joining several clubs and volunteering with Benevilla. When she joined the Community Fund in 2013 and became a member of the Personal needs Committee she found satisfaction working with the adult population served by the Community Fund.  She is proud to be involved with an organization where such a high percentage of the funds donated stay in the community to help individuals that qualify for financial assistance.
