Did you know? Many of our residents in SCW have out-lived their savings and rely solely on their Social Security to survive. Struggling to make ends meet, they worry and stress over unpaid bills, empty food closets and unfilled prescriptions. Life is tough and then the unexpected happens. Unexpected expenses occurring on top of everyday struggles.
By making a gift to the Community Fund of Sun City West you can make a difference in someone’s life, right now! Your gift can help someone pay for food, utilities, medical bills, auto repairs, prescriptions and countless other unexpected bills that can happen to any of us at any time.
And, if you file Arizona Individual Income Taxes, we are an Arizona Qualifying Charitable Organization (QCO Code 20177), so you may get a tax credit for your donation.
We provide a financial safety net for SCW residents who are having difficulties paying their bills.
Has your refrigerator or water heater broken down? Does your air conditioner or furnace need repair or replacement? Can’t leave the house because your car won’t run? Need to fill your prescription, buy food or pay your utility bill, but you don’t have enough cash?

Our PURPOSE
- We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity organization founded in 1982.
- We are an AZ "Qualifying Charitable Organization". QCO Code:20177
- Our mission is to provide confidential financial assistance to low-income residents of Sun City West (SCW).
- We are an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff.
- Over the last four years we have paid out over $847,000.00 in financial assistance for our SCW neighbors.
- We are not affiliated with the SCW Foundation, the Recreation Centers of SCW, PORA, or the United Way.
